Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Gauteng
Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Gauteng:
The geographical area covered by Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Gauteng includes the Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West Province.
We are a non-profit organisation that supports people affected by muscular dystrophy and neuromuscular disorders and endeavours to improve the quality of lifestyle of its members. As a branch, we serve to directly assist affected members and their families with valuable information, referrals to genetic counselling & other clinics, special equipment, emotional support and group support.
In the 44 years of our existence, the MDF has always been a volunteer organisation for the people by the people. The executive committee of our Gauteng Branch is made up of dedicated volunteers, often including people personally affected by muscular dystrophy.
